Gubbio is one of the most ancient cities of Umbria, wonderfully preserved over the centuries and rich in monuments. Evidence of its origins are the Eugubine Tables, and the Teatro Romano. Gubbio hosts architectural masterpieces and recall that symbolize the power of this medieval city-state. The Palazzo dei Consoli with Pensile Square and the Palazzo Pretorio are of fourteenth century, also the palaces Beni, Bargello, the Renaissance Ducal Palace that recalls the period lived under the lordship of Montefeltro. From Gubbio you can reach in 40 minutes the city of Perugia, Assisi, Deruta, Urbino, caves of Frasassi, Trasimeno Lake and the regional park of Mount Cucco 1566 m above sea level and Mount Subasio 1290 m above sea level.
